Renovation of a historical steel mill village. The life of the village is recreated with sounds from the past. Client: Finnish National Board of Antiquities Construction phase fall 2002 Souru is located in Eastern Finland, close to Kuopio. Souru was founded 1860 to a beautiful lakeside area. During that time there were several iron mills which got their iron from the bottom of the lake. Souru grew fast.
